PG in Noida: Best Sectors Near the Metro and Offices
A sector-by-sector guide to finding a PG in Noida close to the metro and the big office hubs, with real rents and a short checklist for your visit.

Finding a PG in Noida is mostly a question of which sector. Noida is planned in numbered sectors, and the right one depends on where you work and which metro line you use. Pick well and your commute is a short walk or two stops; pick badly and you spend an hour a day in traffic.

The best sectors for a PG in Noida
Sector 62 and around
Sector 62 is Noida's biggest IT hub, with offices, institutes and the Noida Electronic City metro station at the end of the Blue Line. We listed 72 PGs in Sector 62, from about ₹6,000 to ₹15,000 a month, and 65 include meals. See PGs in Sector 62.
Sectors 15, 16 and 18
These older central sectors have Blue Line stations, Sector 18's market and easy access to Delhi. They suit people who travel to Delhi often or work in central Noida.
Along the expressway: Sectors 125 to 135
The Noida–Greater Noida Expressway is lined with large office campuses. Living nearby saves a long daily drive, and the Aqua Line metro runs along the expressway towards Greater Noida.
Getting around Noida
- Blue Line: connects Noida (Sectors 15, 16, 18, Botanical Garden and on to Sector 62) with central Delhi and Dwarka.
- Magenta Line: starts at Botanical Garden and runs to South Delhi and the airport side.
- Aqua Line: runs from Sector 51 along the expressway to Greater Noida.
Choose a PG within a short walk of the station you will use every day. Sector 51 (Aqua Line) and Sector 52 (Blue Line) are linked by a short walkway, which helps if you switch lines.
What to check before you take a PG in Noida
- Walk to the metro or office. Check it at the hour you will actually travel.
- Meals and timings. Late shifts need late dinners. Ask what the PG does for people who work nights.
- Power backup and water. Summers are hot. Ask about inverter hours and AC charges.
- Total monthly cost. Electricity for AC rooms is often billed by meter.
- Agreement and receipts. Get the rent, deposit and notice period in writing.
- Security. Look for a guard, CCTV at the entrance and a working gate lock.
Your first week in Noida
- Get a metro card on day one. It is cheaper and faster than buying tokens every trip.
- Find the nearest market and pharmacy. Most sectors have a small market within walking distance.
- Save the PG's address with the sector and block number. Cab drivers and delivery apps need both.
- Try the commute at peak hour in your first week, and adjust your timings before the routine sets in.
- Keep copies of your ID and agreement handy for police verification and office paperwork.
Noida, Laxmi Nagar or Delhi?
If you work in Noida, living in the same or a neighbouring sector is almost always worth it. If you want lower rent and do not mind a metro ride, Laxmi Nagar in East Delhi is a common alternative. If you are torn between a PG and a shared flat, read PG vs flat in Delhi NCR.
